Rian is President of Intersteno since Berlin, 2017.
Rian is Chair of the meetings of the board, the council and the General Assembly. Together with the Secretary-Treasurer, Rian is responsible for the management of the Intersteno Federation. Besides, she always is member of the organizing committee of the Intersteno congresses.
In her daily life Rian is Head of the Parliamentary Reporting Office of the Netherlands. Rian lives in The Hague, the Netherlands.

Since 25 years Danny is as Secretary-Treasurer of Intersteno responsible for the day-to-day management of the Federation. He combines this function with the coordination of the organization committee of the Intersteno congresses.
In everyday life, Danny is teacher in computer science and office skills in a commercial school in Brugge and at the Artevelde University College in Gent, Belgium.

Since 2009, Georgette is the Intersteno Jury President. She coordinates all competitions organized by Intersteno within the congresses and the yearly Intersteno Internet contest.
Georgette is a retired teacher with long experience in Office skills. At the moment, she represents Belgium in the Intersteno council and as Jury President she is member of the Intersteno Board.

Carlo is the Chairman of the Scientific Committee and a Board Member of the Federation.
Together with the president of the IPRS, Carlo organises the DIAMESIC conference, chairs the scientific committee meeting, and supervises the scientific projects related to the activities of the Federation.
In his daily life, Carlo is Associate Professor of Audiovisual Translation and Media Accessibility at the University of Leeds.
Carlo lives between the UK and Italy.

Ian is currently Vice President of the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters (BIVR) following the completion of his two-year term as President. He first became involved in court reporting in 1989, initially working in courts around the United Kingdom. His work expanded, eventually travelling worldwide, being engaged for hearings and arbitrations in a variety of countries for clients including international law firms, the United Kingdom Government, and several agencies of the United Nations. Now in a mainly administrative role, Ian is a partner in Ford Roberts Reporting and director of Briault Reporting International Limited.

ACR, RPR, CRR, RMR
Georgina is the Chief Examiner of the British Institute of Verbatim Reporters (BIVR), after serving as President in 2021-2022 then Vice President 2022-2024. She began training as a court reporter in late 1989 quickly becoming a realtime reporter. She was the inaugural recipient of the Apsey-Haynes medal after gaining a speed certificate for 250 wpm. In 2018 she undertook and passed the American NCRA’s Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) examination – one section at 100% – and has gone on to achieve the further NCRA examinations of CRR and RMR and enjoys taking part in the Intersteno and NCRA competitions.

Mary is secretary of the BIVR (British Institute of Verbatim Reporters) and Chairman of the IPS (the oldest shorthand writing society in the world).
She has a long career as court reporter and founded Sorene Verbatim Reporter Training Services. She trained many court reporters in the UK and far abroad (Lagos, Nigeria...).
Mary is recipient of the Betty Willett Award and other awards.
Mary lives in the London area, UK.
